Course description:
Personal Watercraft (PW) instructors are experienced PW drivers who have been trained and assessed to run the RYA’s Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course and the Introduction to PW Safety course, which is for guests on Superyacht charter holidays. Many yachts have become certified as RYA PWC training schools so as to ensure jet ski operation is legitimate.
For those who work in the yachting industry or who want to start working in the yachting industry, obtaining the RYA PWC Instructors course will greatly increase chances of employment on yachts. There is lots of demand for yacht crew holding this certificate.
Duration:
Three day course run by an RYA PWC Trainer and assessed by an independent trainer/moderator.
RYA Powerboat Instructors may attend a one day conversion course.
Price:
950 euro/person (min. 3 students required to run a course) + costs for the moderator/assessor (to be shared between the students following the course)
